What is AIPIA?

AIPIA is the Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association. In the words of the organization, it's the information hub for all supply chain material and active, intelligent packaging solutions. That certainly sounds familiar, and something Logmore wants to be a part of. The themes handled by AIPIA include data mining, shelf life, consumer engagement and recycling by implementation of new packaging technologies.

Why AIPIA?

Like we at Logmore, AIPIA believes that adopting new packaging technologies is a key to growth, security and efficiency in supply chain management. We also share the mission of reducing the costs associated with supply chain effectiveness and waste. We want to work on new solutions that increase traceability and security for companies regardless of the size and industry, and above all, reduce waste. We believe this is the best way to both environmental and financial benefit globally.

AIPIA believes that active and intelligent packaging will play a much more significant role in logistics processes regardless of the industry. The new technologies offer benefits and opportunities never seen before, and the earliest adopters are bound to reap the most benefit out of the innovations.

We'll be participating in multiple events as a member of AIPIA in the near future. The first one in the series will be next month's ProPak Asia, the foremost packaging and processing event in Asia.
